At prior sessions of the Ladder (like this one and this one too) we’ve learned a number of things about ears and medical practice that focuses on the ears. This month we’re going to revisit the ears, with a focus on sound and balance.
You’re probably on top of the fact that your ears are involved with your ability to hear sound – but do you know how they work? And did you know ears aren’t just for hearing, but that your ears are also involved in your ability to stand without tipping over and riding a bike?
Bring your ears and a friend, and balance yourself on over to the next session of the Ladder: Saturday, June 13th at 12:30pm, where we’ll give you hands-on opportunities to learn about how the ears are involved in sound and balance! Our meeting location will be at the UROC building – 2001 Plymouth Ave N (Newton & Plymouth) in north Minneapolis – lunch will be provided!
The UROC is reachable by Metro Transit bus routes 19, 32 & 7.
Have a bulletin board or wall-space for info-posting? Print this off and post! Curious about what the Ladder is all about? See for yourself!
The Ladder is a Society of Medical Scholars ages 9 to 99. Meetings are every second Saturday of the month.
