The next Ladder session will teach us about some of the basic principles of everyday medicine and how they can be applied to monitor some emergency situations. Come learn about how vitals are obtained and read to determine if a person is experiencing shock or sepsis. There will also be hands on activities to teach us what causes sepsis and shock, and how these medical emergencies are managed in the hospital. We hope to see you Saturday June 9th at 12:30pm in UROC for another knowledge and fun-filled session of The Ladder!
The UROC building in North Minneapolis is located at 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis. Lunch will be provided, as well as hands-on activities and mentorship on next-steps for scholars of all ages interested in pursuing health care careers!
The UROC building is reachable by Metro Transit bus routes 19, 32 & 7.
