Join us at The Ladder in UROC, Saturday December 9th from 12:30 to 2:30pm to learn why the field of medicine is more than just pills, prescriptions and procedures. We will learn about the field of behavioral health and the many different roles that behavioral health providers have in a clinic. This session will be a great way to learn some important mental health tools that we can use during time of stress (especially if you have finals) and also skills we can carry into the new year. Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested!
The Ladder is a free mentorship program for Fourth grade, through Middle school, to High school, College, Medical school, Resident and Intern Physicians all the way to Attending Physicians. As always, a free healthy lunch will also be served.
The UROC building in North Minneapolis is located at 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis. Lunch will be provided, as well as hands-on activities and mentorship on next-steps for scholars of all ages interested in pursuing health care careers!
The UROC building is reachable by Metro Transit bus routes 19, 32 & 7.
