Welcome back medical scholars! Our 2017 kick-off session is Sports Medicine and will be held at UROC on January 14th at 12:30pm. We hope you’re ready for another year of fun-soaked learning and growing together.
Whether it’s basketball, swimming, the Gophers, or your school’s football team, sports can often be plagued by injuries. Many of you unfortunately know someone who has experienced a sports related injury or have had one yourself. Fortunately for us, there’s an entire field in medicine dedicated towards recognizing and treating ailments related to sports.
Join us at The Ladder to interact with providers that specialize in sports medicine and to explore this incredible field in health care through hands-on educational activities.
The next session of the Ladder is on Saturday January 14th at 12:30pm at the UROC building in North Minneapolis (2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis. Lunch will be provided, as well as hands-on activities and mentorship on next-steps for scholars of all ages interested in pursuing health care careers!
The UROC building is reachable by Metro Transit bus routes 19, 32 & 7.

The Ladder is a Society of Medical Scholars ages 9 to 99. Meetings are every second Saturday of the month.
